We developed 3M(TM) Vinyl Tape 472 as a thick and versatile tape that is ideally suited for heavy-duty protection, abrasion resistance and a range of other applications. It is comprised of a tough, 9.0 mil black vinyl backing with black pigmented rubber adhesive. The backing thickness makes it ideal for applications requiring both surface protection and the inherent conformability of vinyl.
