Scotch(R) Photoelectric Scanning Tape 7800 is an exposed-lens retroreflective tape with a pressure sensitive, synthetic rubber adhesive. It is designed for use as expendable code marks in automatic warehouse or conveyor operations. Scan and Classify with Luminescent Tape Scotch® Photoelectric Scanning Tape 7800 is a 7 mil, exposed-lens retroreflective tape with a pressure sensitive, synthetic rubber adhesive. It is designed for use as expendable code marks in automatic warehouse or conveyor operations. This tape affords exceptional contrast with its background for increased accuracy, reliability and depth-of-field in photoelectric sorting and classification systems. It may be employed with automatic on-line applications or manual dispensers for identification or simple sorting of paperboard shipping containers. This tape is designed to perform at high temperatures. It can withstand continuous exposure to temperatures as high as 350°F/177°C, and short term exposure up to 500°F/260°C. It provides a typical luminance factor of 200X at -4° reading, and 100X at a skewed 45° reading.
