3M(TM) Polyethylene Tape 483 features our tough polyethylene backing with a rubber adhesive. It stretches easily and is highly conformable for a tight seal around irregular surfaces. We manufacture this tape with its smooth backing to provide good abrasion, solvent and alkali resistance and to remain flexible to -20 degrees F/-29 degrees C. This tape adheres well yet removes cleanly.
