3M(TM) Photo Film Splicing Tape 8421 is used to pre-splice photographic film for processing. The creamy white tape features a heavy polyester backing, an aggressive, versatile rubber adhesive that is both solvent and chemical resistant. Rubber Adhesive Offers High Tack with Excellent Chemical Resistance.The strong yet thin backing of 3M™ Photo Film Splicing Tape 8421 is ideal for splicing most film for processing through the developing chemicals. In addition, the stiff polyester provides additional abrasion protection and makes it less likely to curl or fold over on itself. The rubber adhesive sticks well to irregular surfaces, offers excellent chemical and solvent resistance and features high shear strength. The tape remains flexible at -60ºF (-50ºC) and is dimensionally stable up to 300ºF (150ºC).
