3M™ Lead Foil Tape 421 can be used as a mask to eliminate the chemical impacts of electroplating, anodizing or chemical milling. It is also used for x-ray masking and radiopacity for x-ray makers. This versatile and reliable tape can also be used as a moisture barrier or for thermo pane window sealing. This heat and light reflective tape resists flame, moisture, weather, UV degradation, chemicals and is thermally conductive to enhance heating and cooling efficiency of electronics, windows and other applications where heat dissipation is desirable. The density of our lead tape also allows it to be used for precise weighting that requires adhering to low energy and other surfaces.
